Hectare GMAC Real Estate, formerly Hectare Commercial Realty, has been a respected and well recognized member of the commercial real estate community since 1978, when the company was founded by Tom Murray and the late Bruce Dymond. Under the GMAC umbrella we are able to provide service in over 40 countries throughout the world.
Hectare GMAC Real Estate is a group of highly motivated professional individuals working together as a team creating a powerful synergy. This synergy translates into a creative approach to providing unparalleled real estate solutions to our clients’ requirements on a daily basis. Currently, Hectare GMAC Real Estate employs 14 licensed agents and 2 administrative staff, most of whom are university and/or college educated.
When the company was founded, the philosophy was “To bring together highly motivated individuals in an energetic environment which encourages them to think freely amongst themselves” and today this philosophy remains the same. In March 2003, Dan Bates purchased Hectare GMAC Real Estate from Tom Murray and the original philosophy has remained and will continue to govern how Hectare GMAC Real Estate operates today and tomorrow.
Evolving from the industrial age into the information age, Hectare GMAC Real Estate has always maintained the fundamental belief that real estate is ultimately a “service business” which in turn has enabled us to grow our client list, which is lengthy and impressive. With more and more companies seeking a higher level of service as provided by Hectare GMAC Real Estate, we are poised to continue to grow.
Our offices are located in Mississauga and our core business is industrial, commercial and investment real estate. Our proprietary database tracking properties over 1,000 sq. ft., including both available and unavailable, is likely the most comprehensive and accurate in the GTA West. Our database allows our agents instant access to current information translating into faster turnaround time in completing real estate transactions. In addition, our administrative support with over 27 years of combined experience further enables our agents to quickly and efficiently service our clients.
Hectare GMAC Real Estate is results orientated and averages near 300 completed transactions per year ranging from 400 sq. ft. to 200,000 sq. ft. We are proud to say that we are one of the only real estate brokerages that have the resources and personnel to effectively work with people realizing their dreams of starting a new business to multi-national and publicly traded companies.
